People Partner Mission:
The People partner should be a strong believer and an ambassador of Smartcat’s Culture. People partner is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and delivering value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business goals. From onboarding to leading teams, talent development to performance reviews, a People Partner is a first point of contact, an advisor and a relationship builder.
Your outcomes:
- Define quarterly plans for the HR functions together with VP of People
- Improve internal communications: improve work relationships, build morale, be positive, and increase productivity and retention. Assist employees all over the Globe with related HR matters
- Onboard employees. Supervise the onboarding process, ensure newcomers start to deliver value fast, and are well-informed about all the needed details of their jobs and working in the company
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the legal department as needed
- Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follow up to ensure training objectives are met (360 review, performance review, personal development plans, etc.)
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations
- Actively participate in the organizational tasks related to employees relocation
Requirements:
- 2+ years in similar role in multinational remote IT business
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to understand the company’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications and compensation practices
- Attention to details
- Native Russian
- Fluent English
- Growth-oriented mindset
- Readiness to work in a highly intense startup environment requiring extreme focus, a sense of urgency, and persistence to breakthrough
- Experience working with remote teams across time zones
- Openness to constructive feedback and the opinions and ideas of others
