The Market Access division acts as both educators and advocates for the products, processes, and practices that help MSD revolutionize medicine across the globe. Our tenacious, assertive group of individuals uses a deep understanding of the healthcare market in order to build collaborative relationships with the business leaders, customers, and legislative powers that help cultivate positive uptake of and education about MSD’s products throughout the world.
Responsibilities:
— Act as the patient insight specialist in the assigned disease and therapeutic area teams by deeply understanding the unique needs, experiences and outcome of patients.
— Interaction with the patient community in all nosologies.
— Develop relationships with patient opinion leaders who can inform the development of our medicines, programs, and services.
— Lead strategic development, execution and ongoing evaluation of patient engagement plans.
— Facilitate patient insight knowledge sharing by developing a patient group engagement and communications strategy at a global level.
— Develop strategy that could have a positive and successful impact on patients and their outcomes.
— Understand the regulatory landscape with regards to patient engagements and work with relevant groups such as Legal and Compliance to ensure that patient engagements remain adherent with values and applicable regulations.
Requirements:
— Experience in patient programs
— Preferred experience in high value medical background
— Understand the environment / legislation and policy and compliance aspect
— Experience in building relationships/networks with health care decision makers (governments, payers, insurers, policy makers KOLs etc.)
— Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
— English – fluent
