Microsoft is searching for a Partner Development Manager for ISV partners. Mission for Independent Software Vendor (ISV) business: Bring ISVs to the Microsoft cloud platform, drive Industry & Solution Area innovation, scale, and market momentum.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Scope of this role: Identify and attract Strategic ISVs by key industries and solution area to help them innovate more quickly, launch new products, reach new markets and grow their customer base 
  • Strategic Planner: Prioritizes Recruit Targets  by understanding SA and industry strategies, leveraging GTM capacity models, Industry & Segment maps, and research. Pre-qualifies Partners and confirms Recruit list
  • Trusted Advisor: Engages with C-Suite pre-qualifying and building trusted relationships, business and IT, driven by understanding partners business and by sharing insights and thought leadership. Builds a committed Partner Business Plan with qualified partners
  • Transformation Leader: Transforms Practice, Solutions, Sales
  • Builds new solution, capacity and capability across Microsoft clouds, onboards partner  and prepares for co-sell.
  • Partner Experience: Maintain partner’s commitment, align expectations on Microsoft partnership and engagement, ensuring a smooth transfer to PDM for long-term partner success or a Programmatic Engagement
  • Team Mobilizer and Partner Evangelist: Mobilizes business and technical resources to build engagement plan. Evangelizes the partner solution across GPS, ensures business outcomes are met and a smooth transfer is made


Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Operations, Computer Science or a related field
  • 5+ years partner management, sales, business development, or partner channel development in the technology industry OR related experience
