What is expected of a person stepping into the leading role of transactional services:

  • Being responsible for building the operational support functions of the buyers, sellers, agents and developers going through the transactional experience. From the point of when there is a match between property and buyer until registration of the transaction
  • Build an “ops factory” - a center of digital and physical assistance during the transactional process
  • Build a roadmap of what products need to be built inhouse and what needs to be covered through partnerships / outsourcing and cooperate with the product and tech department to build out all those digital services
  • Collect a team which could execute strategy
  • Build necessary partnership necessary to provide the best in class transactional customer service
  • Work with the leaders of the new development and secondary sales and mortgage TRX business units to develop the best e2e experience
  • Be responsible for the P&L of the transactional services, deliver on approved operational and financial metrics

 

The resources company will be providing for you:

  • Approved for a vast growth of dedicated resources over the next 2 years (est. 900+ FTE, unlocked with milestone delivery)
  • You will be trusted with building up the business unit and team. You will be supported by resources from HR, finance, product, sales, marketing, etc.

 

Who would the candidate report to?
You would be reporting directly to the GM of Real Estate (CEO-2 role). Given the importance of the task at hand.

 

An ideal candidate for this role would:

  • Have experience in building multi-product, multi-customer segment ops services. Support / sales / telemarketing
  • Have leadership experience in transactional real estate or similar services: in transactional marketplaces, mortgage banking or tech-enabled brokerages
  • Have a strong network in the banking, finance, insurance environment, real estate
  • Think and act like a customer: if we want to simplify the real estate market we need to understand it first. Which is why understanding the dynamics and challenges of the Russian real estate market or experience in working on it will be a big plus
  • Think big bold and act on it - a track record of initiated and executed projects with big impact, especially with focus on digital transformation
  • Have experience in hiring and empowering the best - experience in hiring and building teams
  • Be able to act as an owner and include others: experience in operating in complex organizations, receiving stakeholder buy ins. Board-level exposure
  • P&L ownership experience: have the ability to drive results documented by past responsibility for P&Ls of businesses
  • Have understanding technology and the process of product management: experience of working in a tech company. Experience in building tech platforms
  • Have flexibility and strong leadership qualities and organizational skills as well as the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles, methodologies, and best practices
