Second Hand Retail Chain is seeking an experienced Operations Retail Director.
The main responsibilities:
To follow the Company’s rules and systems in all aspects – the sales system, the reporting systems, internal rules for inventory, etc.
That budgets are kept as planned for turnover and net profit for all shops, units and regions.
That the right goods are brought to the shops in the decided volumes, seasonality and categories and that the prices are right and according to the company’s guidelines.
That the shops’ appearance is beautiful, inviting and the goods are well organized and presented to the public according to the established merchandizing systems.
That the staffing is right and the right persons on each position.
That the rules and regulations set by state organs are followed regarding all staff issues, health and safety issues, fire precaution, etc.
Qualifications of the candidate:
Solid experience from working as area Manager/Regional Manager for retail clothing shops (clothes’s retail experience is a must!). It can also be leader of a big department store.
Solid experience in the major aspects of the work mentioned above.
English language at upper-intermediate level (or higher) Must be able to carry on interview in English, and in general to speak, understand read and write English – but it does not have to be perfect.
Focus on results.
High demands to oneself and to others for achieving the results.
Ability to detect and solve conflicts at an early stage – always maintaining high level of sense of justice, and a high standard of professional ethics.
Good ability to prioritize tasks and organize own time.
Sociability, accuracy in expressing one’s thoughts, self-disciplined and with ability to work effectively and get things done.
Loyalty to the company. Puts the company’s interest first.
Readyness for business trips (near 50-60% of working time).
