Tech-travel ventures ZEN Rooms is looking for an Operations Director.

 

ZEN is a travel technology group for Southeast Asian budget & mid-range hotels. Company provides state-of-the-art technology solutions for hotel clients to help them increase revenue and achieve operational efficiency. Company`s portfolio consists of top SaaS and software products: AI-driven Revenue Management system, world’s #1 hotel software, OTA with localized Marketing Boost, growth-driven marketing solutions.
The pandemic has accelerated the need for tech-driven marketing and operations innovation in hospitality and 2021 has been a great year for company. Goal is to democratize travel in the region with a network of 10,000 budget & mid-range hotels by 2022, helping them increase revenue and achieve operational efficiency.

 

About the Role:
This role gives you an opportunity to work in a cross-functional role and contribute in various areas. You will be challenged to analyze data to solve complex problems, identify strategic insights and opportunities to improve products and processes.
As a Regional Operations Director, you will be given 100% ownership, be challenged to think creatively and overcome business challenges in a fast-paced environment. You will be a part of a team of very motivated and talented people who drive young business forward.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the leadership team and Head of Departments to define the product and rollout strategy, and drive the execution of new initiatives across different divisions
  • Reviewing and improving existing processes through automations, integrations, or changes in team structure to increase scalability, efficiency and quality of service
  • Support Operations departments to ensure targets are met, daily operations are running smoothly, and identify bottlenecks
  • Create a solid set of report to have accurate and actionable data easily available for teams
  • Be accountable for key company metrics related to onboarding, satisfaction, retention and efficiency

 

Requirements:

Academic and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from a top university (local/foreign)
  • 3+ years in operations/project management working on operations optimization at successful companies/startups
  • 2 years People Management experience
  • Have a proven track record of delivering high levels of performance, sustained customer satisfaction, and consistent achievement of business goals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Preferably have prior experience working in startup/digital marketing companies
