inDrive is an international ride-hailing service headquartered in Mountain View, CA. inDrive app's downloads exceed 150M, we are operating in more than 700+ cities in 47 countries.
As part of increasing its positive impact on the world and the environment, the inDrive team has created a special unit in its structure, which carries a number of important projects: non-profit, socially oriented, cultural and educational, etc. This division is called Vision Wing.
Team is looking for an Operational director who will perform the organizational, controlling and structuring function of the project portfolio, as well as help in the implementation and guide program managers. One of the main tasks of this position is to audit all projects, bring them into a single system and integrate them into the company's processes.
Duties:
- Formation of an effective organizational structure
- Сontinuous improvement of the operational efficiency of the division
- Goal-setting
- Budgeting and evaluation of resources
- Organization of efficient interaction of all subdivisions of the holding company in Vision Wing processes
- Risk-management
- Control over the rational and efficient use of resources, their planning, and expediency of use
- Reporting (internally and externally)
- Support of project teams in the development of projects (social design, project management)
- Participation in the creating a medium- and long-term development strategy
Company expects:
- Experience as an operating director in SMB or division director in large business or social entrepreneur (4+ years preferred)
- Ability to build a methodology and processes for the work of the unit
- Experience in project management
- High level of communication skills
- Foreign education or advanced training
- Critical and structured thinking
- Fluent in English and Russian
- Readiness for relocation to Cyprus
Nice to have:
- Experience of opening a new branch/ building the work of a separate department from the beginning
- Experience in social design and impact measurement
