А nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world Samaritan’s Purse is searching for an International Regional Director who will provide vision and leadership to Operation Christmas Child teams in Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
A Day in the Life of an International Regional Director:
At Samaritan’s Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do! We start each day with a time of devotions and spend time praying for each other, our staff and volunteers who serve around the globe.
Lead national and regional leadership teams to strategically plan and implement gift box outreach events and discipleship follow-up with children in unreached areas of their country
Provide vision and oversight of all aspects managing The Greatest Journey Discipleship Program in region
Lead and develop up to 120 national volunteers to serve as members of the National Leadership Team within each assigned country in the region
Provide oversight and vision of training effectiveness for approximately 7,000 Ministry Partners
Facilitate and monitor data collection and logistics for effective shoebox gift delivery in the region
Develop prayer networks throughout each of the assigned countries
Manage other projects as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
A thriving, personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
Demonstrated leadership among cross cultural teams and volunteers
Strong discernment and problem solving skills
Effective cross cultural communication skills, as well as awareness and sensitivity to cultural cues
Attention to detail and efficient organizational skills
Strong relational skills and demonstrated financial stewardship
Experience living and working in Russia and/or Central Asia (strongly preferred)
Russian language fluency (strongly preferred)
Twelve credit-hours of biblical studies (strongly preferred)
Master’s degree, or three to five years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
