Japan Tobacco International is searching for a New Product Development Team Leader.
What will you do:
- Manage the team:
- Lead the recruitment, appointment and induction for new team members
- Set objectives, monitor team performance and provide regular feedback & coaching
- Ensure initial knowledge transfer, continuous knowledge level maintenance and sets proper responsibilities split
- Support effective team working through good communication and regular team meetings
- Support team members development needs, based on the identified on the job gaps
- Lead NPD Project Management:
- Ensures that all NPD Services are provided to the Cluster of Markets in accordance with set Quality and Timing criteria
- Ensures the set-up and maintenance of appropriate project management processes for the Cluster of Markets
- Regularly review the status of running projects and provide recommendations on immediate corrective actions to meet customer quality and delivery expectations
- Manage ASP planning process for brand groups’/portfolio activities, coordinate portfolio collection
- Establish and maintain strong & efficient relationships with internal stakeholders (R&D, SRA, GSC, Legal, CA, Commercial, M&S, IT, etc.) for timely information, knowledge sharing and joint problem solving
- Supervise process related to Knowledge and Technical Support:
- Stimulate and build NPD knowledge and expertise within M&S
- Provide reports to NPD PMO and manage required follow-up activities based on the report results
The company expects from you:
- University degree
- 5 years experience in a multinational organization in a similar role, Marketing or project management role
- 2 years of managerial experience
- Strong experience and knowledge of packaging and product development
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and set appropriate priorities
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
