Bayer is looking for a New Channel Development Manager.

 

Responsibilities:

Sets, supports and develops business partnerships with the management of distributors, retail chains and decision-makers in the area of responsibility:

— defines the potential, forms the sales forecast in the FMCG channel, creates the necessary customer development plan and performs long-term planning of its activities.

— conducts negotiations and presentations with decision makers of distributors and chains in order to plan inventory, new products entry, trade marketing programs, merchandising standards, etc.

— provides the processing, approval and signing of the Contract with the counterparty within the established time frame.

— monitors the performance of contract terms by distributors, retail chains, and selling points and provides regular feedback. Identifies the reasons for customers violation of their obligations, takes measures to eliminate and prevent them.

— conducts business meetings with clients to discuss working situations in the process of Contract execution and their correction, if necessary, at least once a month.

Constantly monitors the level of product stocks, goods flow through transit and sales at the central / regional warehouses of distributors and retail chains, in order to maintain an optimal inventory of the company’s products.
Controls the cash flow from key customers and provides timely payments for deliveries purchases.
Organizes the reporting processes from distributors and retail chains and monitors the document flow of all key partners (contracts, powers of attorney, letters, memoranda).
Organizes the processes of sales planning with customers and searches for opportunities to increase the representation, increase the market share of the company’s products.
Regularly (quarterly) submits to the direct manager a written report (in the format of a presentation, by template) on the results of cooperation with each distributor and retail chain in the area of responsibility.
Leads cross-functional cooperation, providing a single information field about the stock and turnover of distributors and retail chains, about the availability of products with expiring expiration dates, about trade marketing events held in retail chains. Offers measures to improve the efficiency of the commodity distribution chain in the region, involves the necessary support.

 

Important:

Higher education.
Experience in the FMCG Key Account Manager / Key Account Executive market for at least 3 years. Understanding the specifics of product distribution channels in the FMCG channel (distributors/retail chains).
Successful experience in working / negotiating supply contracts, commercial terms, marketing agreements (Federal / Regional chains / Distributors).
Knowledge of the main legal aspects of doing business in the FMCG channel (Food/ Non Food).
Excellent planning skills, working with information systems, good analytical skills (sales analytics, performance of promotional events, etc.).
Confident negotiation skills in the win-win format, the ability to conduct complex negotiations, the ability to build long-term relationships with customers.
Skills in forming and executing the budget, monitoring compliance with contract conditions
Focus on results, communication skills, ability to work in a team, presentation skills.
Valid driver’s license.
English proficiency at least upper-intermediate level.
Microsoft Office proficiency.
