Job’s Purpose

The New Business and Customer Success Finance Manager is the Finance partner to the Subsidiary STU Lead. The successful candidate will develop deep analytical skills aimed to identify new business opportunity on the cloud space. The successful candidate will also develop deep subject matter expertise in the compete space and in the industry analytics to assess and prioritize market opportunities, customer trends, and threats incl. propensity model.
Key to this role is also the ability to enabling integration between EGs and STU to land the business opportunity in the field thru the Account Executive teams.
Finally, the role will drive and support directly New Bus/STU Lead around financial ROB.

In Global Sales Marketing and Operations (GSMO) Finance, we’re driving shareholder value in
57 subsidiaries & 117 Sales Locations and carry the local accountability for the financials as well as statutory and compliance matters across all Microsoft commercial segments and products. We:

Responsibilities

Partnership:

Drive NB growth for Cloud in Enterprise and SMC. Billed, Consumptions and customers adds in an overall CLV perspective, thru:

  • The identification of white spacing and opportunities enabling integration between EGs and STU
  • Product and segment deep analytics & actionable insights with workload lens
  • Development and coordination of actions, investments and activities until opportunity has landed and services being consumed
  • Removal of blockers

Provide Compete and leverage Industry analytics to assess and prioritize market opportunities and threats incl. propensity model.

Prioritization

Drive and land these actionable insights coordinating investment and activities until the opportunities have landed and services is consumed.
Support the Business Team on the Financial ROB and enable continues process improvement and simplification of the rhythm.

Protect

Drive compliance tone and land compliance agenda clearly within the STU team.

People

Participate into WW/Area Communities and contribute to projects and development

Key indicators of success

Provide data analysis and insights to enable NB growth especially in Azure, O365 and D365 penetration.
Own an accurate consumption forecast.
Provide Compete and leverage Industry analytics to assess and prioritize market opportunities and threats incl. propensity model.

Qualifications

 

  • 8+ years of experience in finance positions
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen
  • Industry experience preferred, but not limited to technology
  • Data scientist experience desired
  • Fluent in English
