А single family office is hiring a Mid-level Legal Associate.
Main Functions:
• Legal support of the family office projects in co-ordination with the other team members including directly the head of the family office and investment director and in subordination to the head of legal;
• Legal support of the private equity and venture deals;
• Wide range of the Russian and foreign law corporate and commercial issues (SPA, SHA, LPA, Subscription agreements, various commercial contracts);
• Work with foreign companies (including coordination with directors and secretaries) in foreign jurisdictions such as Cyprus, Luxembourg, USA and others;
• Technical local issues, drafting of agreements, PoA’s, coordination with the notary public, co-operation with the banks and other organizations related to the family office member’s business and personal issues;
• Legal analysis of various law issues, researching and preparation of brief memo’s and advices on various legal issues;
• Legal support of asset management;
• Preparation of legal updates of changes to the legislation applicable to the specifics of the family office activity and practice development issues;
• In-house legal functions;
• Communication with business partners and external legal advisors.
Requirements and expectations:
• Degree in Russian law;
• Degree in International Law is an advantage;
• At least 3 years of post-qualification experience in corporate, commercial and M&A;
• Experience in private equity and venture deals is an advantage;
• Knowledge and understanding of investment management business;
• Fluency in English.
