Ernst & Young is looking for a Microsoft Alliance Marketing Leader.
The opportunity:
- As the Alliance Marketing Leader focused on the Microsoft Alliance, you will drive the planning and delivery of our Microsoft Alliance marketing program building a distinctive position for EY with target clients/prospects globally. You will bring innovative integrated marketing experience, shift global marketing model to ‘digital-first’ and develop differentiated marketing programs that drive awareness and demand across key areas of the business
- The successful candidate is a natural relationship builder and dot connector. You understand the importance of communicating the value alliances brings to clients both internally and externally. You are detail-oriented and organized, capable of handling multiple projects at once, and comfortable dealing with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities
- You will work collaboratively with EY’s Alliances and Ecosystem go-to-market teams, BMC colleagues globally, analyst relations, public relations, as well as the regions to ensure we deliver on global marketing initiatives. You will be responsible for delivering comprehensive, world-class marketing and communications programs internally and externally that deliver sustainable, measurable results. Your achievements will be measured through EY’s global brand survey, program usage and engagement
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop distinctive and trusted EY+ MSFT brand across our target audiences, including EY people, Alliance-Partners, Analysts, client and prospects
- Create and land memorable and repeatable joint narrative and messaging that highlights the core-essence of the Microsoft Alliance and feeds innovative marketing activation
- Develop and implement an integrated digital channels strategy and campaigns leveraging data to derive analytics insights, inform decision-making and influence business and BMC stakeholders
- Empower fellow EY marketers to boost EY as a tech innovator through our Ecosystem and Global Alliances messaging
- Lead the strategic marketing approach to content & branding for global flagship Alliance events
- Align closely with Microsoft marketing counterparts to design and activate co-marketing strategies
- Seamlessly execute participation in key strategic virtual and physical events
- Build and execute high impact joint marketing campaigns and programs with key alliance partner(s) to drive awareness of our alliance value proposition
- Collaborate across BMC and the alliances and ecosystem teams to inform and connect on campaign strategies that drive awareness and grow pipeline
- Develop high impact digital campaign assets, highlighting potential use cases and case studies
- Responsible for the review of all Global Microsoft SCORE submissions to ensure compliance and branding guidelines
- Management of the Microsoft presence on ey.com globally
- Contribute to the management of the Microsoft awards submission process and marketing the outcome
- Maintain and steward the EY Microsoft global brand guidelines
- Work cross functionally to champion the alliance partner to be included in significant announcements and launches
- Ensure budget management of all marketing spend
- Provide metrics and marketing analytics against all marketing campaigns and programs
Skills And Attributes For Success:
- 15+ years integrated marketing experience optimizing campaigns across digital channels, platforms, and social channels
- 5+ years social media experience, preferably with global, major brands and in-house
- Proven track record in developing, managing, and implementing complex digital media strategies, transformations and programs at scale
- Experience effectively working with senior leadership
- Experience building media strategies and working with external PR and media agencies
- A strong team player, comfortable working collaboratively, virtually, and independently
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Excellent networking skills – able to effectively manage and influence senior leaders as well as a broad range of internal and client facing professionals
- Executive presence
- Sense of humor
- Ability to work in a high pace environment
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, managing multiple priorities effectively
- Ability to synthesize complex information into simple, high impact messages
- Availability for US and occasionally global travel
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Experience executing high level, B2B integrated content marketing campaigns, preferably in professional services
- Previous Alliance marketing experience
- Experience working with technology vendors, cloud technologies and/or Microsoft
- Previous internal communications experience
- Experience successfully managing multiple complex projects at a global level
- Experience with the use of a variety of digital channels to deliver initiatives to targeted buyers
- Good understanding of the EY business, key stakeholders and influencers
- Experience managing diverse teams
