In this position you will build, develop, and maintain international advertising business for Yandex. The ideal manager is ready to expand international advertising business, manage a multi-GEO team of 50+ people, dive into business processes and challenges of advertisers, agencies, technological partners and offer viable solutions, while also seeking ways to increase our company’s share.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate Yandex multi-market and business expansion in digital marketing and advertising
- Expand and manage a team of 50+ people in Lucerne, Moscow, Shanghai, Almaty, Minsk
- Oversee the company’s financial performance, investments and revenue
- Work closely with the Yandex product team in Russia to ensure that our products meet the requirements of international customers
- Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated all the way from the top down to the team and that they are followed at all times
- Execute a sales plan and overview implementation of internal projects and tasks
- Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company growth
Qualifications:
- Swiss or EU citizenship
- Bachelor’s or equivalent 4-year degree
- 5+ years of experience in Sales and BD management in Europe, Russia and CIS countries in advertising or IT areas
- 5+ years of experience in managing multi-GEO and multi-cultural sales teams of 20+ people
- Strong understanding of corporate finance and measures of performance
- Proven experience in managing sales on online advertising platforms (Yandex.Direct, Google Ads, Facebook Ads)
- Excellent communication skills in English and Russian (preferably mother tongue), any additional language is a plus but not mandatory
