JetBrains delivers tools for software developers and teams to bring them a more productive and enjoyable experience. YouTrack by JetBrains - a project management tool designed for agile teams - goes beyond professional developer teams and now powers more than 50,000 teams worldwide to manage their daily team tasks and projects.
Company is looking for a passionate, creative, and open-minded marketing professional to join YouTrack product marketing team and help increase the YouTrack customer base.
As part of team, you will do:
A lot of marketing communications:
- Work as a part of the YouTrack marketing team to contribute to go-to-market strategy and its execution
- Participate in the development and management of promotional and advertising campaigns to drive product awareness and user engagement through various channels
- Execute content strategy for owned resources – web, blog, social media, and email
- Work with team members across the company to manage digital marketing campaigns, events, web design, and more
- Make marketing materials from scratch, including website materials and landing pages, email campaigns, and webinars
- Create visual storytelling assets, including screenshots, GIFs, and videos
A bit of product management:
- Coordinate product releases and work with a cross-functional team to execute plans
- Distill the key functionality and features of the product into compelling marketing assets and advertising possibilities
- Participate in market research and learn from customers to determine their needs and apply that knowledge to product requirements
- Monitor the market to identify new opportunities and gain competitive advantages
Some sales support:
- Contribute to the marketing activities of channel partners to help them recruit and build product expertise, and to support their marketing efforts
- Prepare public appearances such as online events, offline events, customer meetings, and training sessions
Constant collaboration with the team:
- Work closely with the product development team to determine product priorities and roadmaps
- Collaborate with marketing copywriters and technical writers to ensure they deliver high-quality product-related content
- Communicate with the sales team to coordinate joint marketing/sales activities
Requirements:
- A university degree or proven track record in marketing
- Marketing or project management experience with B2B tools, software products, or services
- Past experience in tech companies or a technical/IT background
- Good communication skills, fluent English, and writing ability
- Entrepreneurial drive with an appreciation for the user experience and business goals
- Ability and desire to work efficiently without direct supervision
- Ability to work in a distributed team
Would be a plus:
- Enough experience to oversee marketing projects strategically while still maintaining an appetite for granular, daily execution
- Familiarity with and understanding of YouTrack or other project management tools on the market
- Experience in internet marketing, social media management, and the creation and/or translation of content (preferably technical)
- Analytical skills, experience working with product statistics
