Job Description:

  • ROI Activations Drive revenues of 40crs 60crs in the region from on ground market activations for Branch Banking & Asset teams across the region through a team of 6-12 Regional Marketing Managers Prime responsibility is to plan, manage and execute on ground market activations and lead generation activities in the region across branch channel and all Product/Sales groups Includes entire conceptualization of the promotion, taking buy-in of all the stake holders, arranging external ground agencies to execute the same through the Regional Marketing Managers and then managing the effective execution Drive joint ownership with the channel for effective and smooth roll out of campaigns Almost 50% of the total regional marketing spends are expected to have clear cut measurable metrics within the prescribed cost to income ratios (1:3) Collaborating on Large scale brand promotions / activations to create impact resulting in increase of business / brand consideration
  • Continuous evaluation with stakeholders and agencies to ensure smooth implementation
  • Drive wide range of activities across various segments like HNW, Rural class, Govt, Traders, Merchants, Salaried class
  • Activities have to be customized as per the target segment Brand Visibility & Promotion Ensure that the business brand is strong and consistent in all marketing strategies and tactics Conduct activations to ensure strong brand awareness and consideration across cities where we are present Make sure that all new and existing branches have ample visibility in the catchment area
  • Arrange temporary or semi-permanent visibility avenues for the branch including promotions for various products, launch activities, anniversary celebrations etc.
  • Stakeholder Management Management of Stakeholders - both internal and external, through Regional Marketing Managers o Internal Branch Banking Heads, Zonal / Circle Heads, Asset Regional Heads, Product teams, CSR / Corp Comm / Govt teams, Corp Sal channel / Infra and Admin o External Govt
  • Officials, Key officials in corporates, Customers, Vendors Act as a link between the marketing department and the stakeholders and ensure corporate objectives are communicated effectively in the channel Work with Branch Banking channel to strategize activations with an objective to increase penetration in govt depts
  • And corporates by influencing key officials Ensuring effective vendor management and constantly engaging with a variety of vendors for newer activations Branch Merchandizing Ensure that branches have adequate merchandizing material in the branch including all types of display material
  • Regularly interact with the stakeholders on the importance of using approved, standard & updated collaterals and other items as part of My Branch Beautiful Guidelines Upgrading marketing materials to match up with the changes in the branch infra and look and feel Analytics & Direct Communication campaigns Drive on ground activities basis marketing analytics
  • Use of analytics for better targeted on ground promotion Conceptualizing, planning and executing Regional level campaigns to support Branch banking and Asset sales teams as well as key channels like Corporate Salary, NRI Trade Marketing Supervision of the Trade Marketing team Manage Visual Merchandizing and Trade Marketing at our offline Market Place (Merchants / CDL outlets) across the region Drive merchant visibility, consumer offer promotions Support IFB for visibility across stores and DSA branding Support Smartbuy / Smarthub visibility CSR & Government Support to Influence and increase in Govt book size through active planning, coordinating and executing marketing interventions along with govt team
  • Drive initiatives under CSR like Dhanchayat, Road Safety visibility, Swachh Bharat visibility, branding initiatives for planned CSR projects
  • Brand promotion in all Rural markets / CSCs / BCs and Other outlets Key Projects / National Campaigns Manage and monitor the execution of "On ground" activities of all the Key Visibility projects of the bank
  • This includes both National and regional campaigns
  • Plan and execute the projects assigned within a given time frame through the Regional Marketing Managers Product / Asset team support Support various asset teams like Gold Loans, Personal Loans, NRI, etc in sales promotion / lead generation activities through RMMs Drive joint ownership with the channel for effective and smooth roll out of campaigns Support key channels such as Corporate Salary in activations Team Supervision Regularly supervise RMMs performance and delivery to ensure smooth and effective execution of Regional Marketing Activities Regular audit of RMMs Budgetary control and Process Ensure effective utilization of branch and asset team budgets Ensure 50% of the spend of branch budget on ROI activities Vendor management to ensure more bang for the buck Ensuring defined processes are followed for execution of activity as well as monitoring & tracking results
