Yandex.Cloud is looking for a talented Marketing Manager to join a team for a brand-new technology project and be among the pioneers of its global success.

 

About a project

Cloud-based data management is the fastest growing part of the Yandex.Cloud platform and globally makes up an approximately $40B market. To leverage our unique expertise and scale our regional cloud business, we are building a brand-new data management platform on top of global cloud infrastructure providers: AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure and Alibaba Cloud. We are focused on data analytics and data warehousing scenarios to enhance data-driven business decision-making process and make it cheaper and faster. Cloud-agnostic by design, the platform combines open-source data engines with our proprietary data visualization and management tools. End-to-end scenarios for various industries, faster time-to-market, and exceptionally competitive pricing are the key differentiators. The project is operated as a spin-off and separate brand from the primary Yandex.Cloud business.

Geographies include major hubs in Europe and the US. Remote work is an option; regional office locations will be selected shortly.

Since its launch in September 2018, Yandex.Cloud has seen continuous growth both in terms of revenue and new customer acquisition. Our ambitious plans include rolling out the platform across multiple markets with customized product offers to meet local needs.

 

You will:

Create a brand identity and communication platform for the new product from scratch;
Work with the design team to convey brand identity into visual assets, including the product interface and web-site;
Conduct marketing/customer research to gain insights about business and technical audiences;
Collaborate closely with Product, Business Development, and Sales teams to prepare marketing launch strategies for the chosen geographies to meet respective business KPI;
Choose the right marketing mix and execute solid go-to-market plans by engaging a v-team of channel marketing professionals (marcom, Content, Events, PR, and others);
Develop sales kits that include emails, presentations, whitepapers, and other materials to support Sales teams;
analyze the effectiveness of ongoing marketing activities in terms of ROMI.

 

We expect that you have:

5+ years of experience in B2B or developer marketing;
Experience in launching brand-new B2B tech products in EMEA, LATAM, or APAC markets;
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize and meet deadlines;
Analytical mindset to support data-driven decisions while working with large quantities of information from various sources;
Willingness to work with ambiguity and adapt quickly in a fast-changing environment;
Effective influencing and relationship building skills for communicating with local and geographically distributed teams;
proficiency in English. Knowledge of Russian, French, German, Spanish, or other European language will be an advantage.
