Join the Marketing team as a Marketing Director responsible for Russia and the CIS Markets! The main purpose of this position will be to build and lead the team of the Business Unit marketing organization to deliver/exceed the agreed business results through processes and activities.The ultimate aim is to meet the Company’s aspirational growth strategy for the development and implementation of consumer marketing plans that will build the LEGO® business among consumers and our retail customers. Focus on strategy, execution, collaboration and leadership

 

Our Marketing Director is expected to play pivotal role to embrace collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, which are mainly Regional and Global Marketing team as well as customers and agency partners. She/he will also, as a member of local Russia and CIS Leadership Team, co-create, drive and execute Business Unit strategic plans, including the people and culture agenda. The role encompasses as well people management of 11 team members, all located in Moscow — comprised of Brand Marketing, Trade Marketing, Digital Marketing. The main responsibilities of the role in details

Develop and establish strong Marketing Team through team developments sessions, regular individual feedback and coaching. Upskill the team in digital marketing area
Be a guardian of LEGO brand in Russia and CIS markets
Achieve/exceed the consumer sales target and establish beloved brand among the kids by implementing the best-in-class consumer marketing
Demonstrate strong leadership and collaboration across functions within the BU and the Leadership Team to implement flawless end-to-end business planning and execution
Be an influencer and collaborator with Regional Marketing team to drive value both to and from each team
Translate global priorities into local brand strategies
Activate Global marketing tool box with local consumer insights, shopper knowledge and market knowledge
Develop an annual communications plan including traditional media, digital, events, instore, and PR
Manage the marketing planning process including marketing budget, sales forecasting, active in sales, marketing and operation

 

 

Do you have what it takes?

University/college degree
Proven track record of marketing experience
Significant people and team leadership experience within marketing function on a Director level (preferably in e-commerce, FMCG or technology industries)
Experience from working internationally or with international companies/brands
Commercial mindset, should be persistent, self-motivated and highly driven, and must have a can-do mentality
Strong passion for working across functions (sales, marketing, operations and leadership teams)
Experience as a local Leadership Team member is a big asset
Strong English communication skills
