Xsolla is looking for a Managing Director, Investor Relations who will act as a liaison between potential investors, Investors, and Xsolla Funding.

 

Xsolla is the video game commerce company that helps developers and publishers market, sell, connect and optimize their games globally.

 

The primary role for this position will be identifying, liaising with, and managing accredited investors (high net-worth individuals, family offices). In your everyday role you will speak with investors, attend family office conferences, and help guide and shape Xsolla Funding initiatives.

You will be responsible for sharing presentations with investors (either within Xsolla or outside), and be expected to curate high quality relationships. In order to be successful in this role, you should have a passion for the video game industry, investing, and exploring uncharted territories.

 

CORE JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage and build Xsolla’s relationships with accredited investors and family offices
Coordinate with senior management and have the ability to resolve all complex issues with help from the appropriate teams
Represent Xsolla Funding at industry events and conferences and recommend additional events to attend/sponsor
Analyze, recommend, and implement improvements to all internal procedures
Coordinate and finalize term sheets based on the needs of all parties
Correspond regularly with prospective and existing investors
Develop meeting materials for new and prospective investors
Continuously source opportunities by identifying appropriate investors across Xsolla Funding
Facilitate the necessary due diligence for a variety of projects
Collaborate with stakeholders and prepare presentations as appropriate for internal and external stakeholders
Update and maintain Xsollla’s investor database on an accurate and timely basis.
Act as an advisor to internal teams, regarding investor interest, best practices, and platform flows

 

EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field from an accredited school
Experience working with high-net worth individuals and family offices
Understanding of investments and funds
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized and detail oriented
An existing network of high-net worth individuals and family offices
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Good understanding of the video game industry and technology
Must be able to immediately handle a significant workload and effectively prioritize projects with a high degree of autonomy
Curiosity for video games and desire to deeply investigate games
Exceptional time management skills and excellent attention to detail, 5+ years of experience at a fund or working closely with high net worth individuals, family offices, and other investors
Experience working at an entrepreneurial organization
Job experience as a Business Development Director, Investor Relations Director or above
You have worked at a publishing company or investment firm
Experience working with game development studios a plus
Knowledge of funding platforms
MBA from top-tier accredited school.
