А leading global medicines company Novartis is seeking a Luxturna Commercial Lead.
Your Responsibilities:
Facilitate networking among Luxturna treatment and referral centers to improve the unified patient journey including gene testing pathways
Ensure relationships are developed and fostered with retinal specialists and geneticists across the country to identify patient caseloads that require genetic diagnosis
Understand the genetic diagnosis pathways and related Genomic Laboratory Hubs across the country through regular pathway assessment
Drive genotyping diagnostic efforts through disease awareness and education to successfully initiate and execute genotyping programs to increase the volume of new and historical IRD patients being genetically diagnosed each month
Develop a local strategy, objectives and tactics in line with the Rare Diseases Unit objectives and prepare annual Integrated Product Strategy plans and Operational plans utilizing input from the full Integrated Brand Team and aligning to the functional accelerators (strategic account management, joint value creation and healthcare systems thinking)
Regularly monitor progress against plans and course correct as required and team lead to achieve annual sales targets in collaboration with Rare Disease Advisor and cross functional brand team
What you’ll bring to the role:
Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Life Sciences, Pharmacy or Business related discipline) MBA preferred
10+ years of pharma/biotech industry experience in a combination of sales and potentially marketing or account management roles.
Minimum 2 years in hospital or specialty sales (preferably biologics, rheumatology, allergy/immunology or rare diseases). Prior experience in Rare or Ultra Rare diseased with strong patient focus is preferred
English: fluent written and spoken.
