BrandLoyalty is looking for a Legal Counsel to be based in the Moscow office to further strengthen both our fast-paced commercial team in Russia and international legal team in HQ, the Netherlands.
Your Team And Responsibilities:
You will report locally to the Finance Director Russia with a functional line to the General Counsel. In this role, you will obtain legal experience within a diverse business environment with international exposure. You will have a chance to work on a variety of legal matters in cooperation with functions such as sales, sourcing, licensing and digital. BrandLoyalty offers great opportunities for commercially oriented lawyers who want to act as a true business partner. Your responsibilities will include:
Be the first contact point for legal matters in Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan;
Give advice to internal stakeholders on legal matters in the broadest sense;
Review, draft and negotiate a variety of contracts, such as NDAs, buying, selling, license and other commercial agreements;
Assist with corporate, IP and privacy matters;
Maintain digital contract management system;
Provide hands-on support where possible, including some administrative tasks.
Requirements And Qualifications:
Degree in law from a university in Russia or Belarus;
A minimum of 3-7 years of experience as a lawyer in a law firm or in-house;
Good knowledge of civil, commercial and consumer protection laws and regulations;
Work experience with sale, license and services agreements;
Experience in retail legal matters and privacy is an advantage;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Russian and English. Other languages, especially Eastern European, are a plus;
Ability to find a commercial solution while managing legal risks;
Willingness to develop and the ability to learn fast;
Strong organizational skills;
Service driven attitude, with a hands-on, proactive and pragmatic mindset;
Team player with the ability to work independently and who can (cross-cultural) interact with all levels and departments.
