Japan Tobacco International is looking for an IT Finance Manager (1C Project).
Job purpose:
Manage the implementation of 1C ERP for scope of finance, AP/AR, controlling, financial reporting, etc. Being the expert in business processes and system functionalities in his/her area of specialization, he/she provides consultancy on complex/critical issues to project team and consultancy to business, bringing forward new 1C functionality to ensure corresponding business functions can meet their established objectives in a timely manner.
Main areas of responsibility:
Project Management:
- Drive the implementation of approved key/major functional projects/initiatives: new system functionality implementation, new location deployment and major business process redesign
- Provide estimate on costs, project resources planning and timelines
- Manage the functional activities such as blueprinting, design, fit/gap and configuration, unit and integration testing, data migration
- Lead and monitor progress of implementation
- Ensure system integrity and performance
- Together with relevant team assess master data and reporting requirements for key users
- Validate the solution (get signoff)
- Coordinate the roll out on a global scale
- Ensure appropriate documentation is maintained
Business Consultancy:
- Act as a senior business consultant to provide expertise both on a business process side and system functionality
- Work proactively with the business to enhance/optimize existing business practices and to bring market best practices in designated area
- Strive to investigate and bring forward new 1C functionality to the business that delivers added value and better meets the business requirements
Knowledge management:
- Provide knowledge transfer and best practices (global processes) to power- users through training in coordination with the training team
- Being the expert on the assigned areas, coache and help the process/application analysts in the configuration/customization of the associated application modules
- Organize the project knowledge transfer: from the project team to the power users; from the external consultants to the project team and 1C support team (documentation, training, etc.)
- Work together both with the power user/business process owner on documenting the processes from a business perspective
- Work together with the project team and the process analyst on documenting the processes from a technical perspective
People management:
- Develop direct reports both technically and professionally
Communication & Alignment:
- Provide all required information and documentation so that future support requirements are planned and efficiently organized
Minimum requirements:
- University Degree or equivalent
- 5+ experience in designing and implementing major business processes in a global, multicultural outsourced environment
- Project management experience
- 2 + years of people management working experience
- Business experience in related area is a plus
- Fluent written and spoken English
- In depth expertise of supported applications functionalities, application landscape and related business processes
- Good knowledge of the key support and development request processes
- Good knowledge of other pillar/work stream business processes and system functionalities
- Proficient knowledge of the GRM and OCM at JTI
- Strong project management skills and full awareness of quality assurance methodology (detailed knowledge of application testing, test procedures and test scenarios)
