Primary purpose and function of this position:
The Commercial IT Cluster Lead is the business partner for Teva's commercial cluster stakeholders and serves as a bridge between corporate IT and the business.
Main responsibilities of the role (For the region):
- Stakeholder (Relationship) Management in the cluster
- Understanding the business processes and application landscape in the area
- Gathering business demands and identify opportunities to use technology to improve business processes and create a competitive advantage
- Recruit, develop, inspire and retain all IT talents
- Budget responsibility
- Aligning with Regional Lead and other Cluster Leads to ensure consistency in key areas of service and delivery
- Supporting delivery as needed
Education and Knowledge Requirements:
- Academic background: minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business or IT administration or equivalent combination of education and related experience
- Preferably 8 to 10 years IT management experience within commercial processes in Life Science
- Proven success in big international corporations and leading in a matrix organisation
- Knowledge of IT Services and organization
- Up to date in current trends and developments
Skills and Capabilities:
- Strong Business Acumen and deep understanding of the complex and continuously changing market dynamics
- Ability to align local and global goals and strategies
- Experience with setting and managing stakeholder expectations and managing internal resource constraints effectively
- Service oriented mindset and end to end ownership way of thinking and sense of ownership
- Budget management and financial planning and reporting
- Experience with management and supervision of direct reports and 3rd party/consultants
- Fluent English – reading, writing, speaking
