Skyeng is looking for an Internal Control Director.
Essential duties:
- SOX implementation
- Leading the SOX implementation projects and initiatives within: Finance, accounting and reporting areas, ITGS & SoD and Corporate Governance
- Key business processes (other)
- Support the development of IFRS & SOX methodology for all group companies and preparation of the corporate finance policies
- Enhancement of month end closing process to ensure proper timeliness, accuracy and insightful analytics as well as SOX compliance
- Development and implementation of internal control procedures ensuring all financial activities completion in accordance with IFRS and statutory regulations
- Development and implementation of Risk & Control Matrixes and Policies for each critical business process including IT & SoD
- Participation in the IFRS reporting modification
- Implementation of the Internal audit functions
- After the finalizing of the SOX implementation project
- Ensure that documentation (Risk & Control Matrixes, Policies) of processes is accurate and up-to-date
- Control owners to improve internal processes over key business activities
- Develop and execute the risk-based Internal Audit plan, including the execution of the Company’s SOX compliance testing program
- Communicate the audit, consulting & analytics results via written reports
- Formalize the audit findings and bring any suspicious transactions or practices to the attention of the Audit Committee and management
Qualifications required:
- A degree in Accounting, Economy, Finance
- Knowledge in IFRS & US public companies' reporting framework
- Professional qualifications such as CIA, CPA, CAP, CIPA, ACCA will be a plus
- At least 4 years of experience with US public reporting, including SOX compliance
- Knowledge and experience of RSA & IFRS standards and principles
- Knowledge of 1C accounting system is a plus
- Upper-Intermediate English is a must
