TikTok is searching for an Industry Relations & Event Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Build and lead external relationships with key industry trade associations and ensure we are meeting the commitments of our memberships/partnerships with the trade associations
- Identify opportunities for internal stakeholder teams to engage with trade associations to develop new business opportunities and help build products
- Provide leadership to help our industry trade partners understand how their members can use and partner with TikTok
- Oversee our sponsorship and membership requirements with key trade associations
- Understand the digital landscape and media environment, and be a reliable source of insight for both internal teams and external partners
- Expand external resources that are conducive to commercial development based on the needs of Russia and CIS industry markets, enhance the influence of the industry
- Plan & execute B2B event activities (both online and offline) based on Russia and CIS market strategy and local business environment, promote, disseminate and enhance brand influence
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of relevant experience, experience working with industry regulatory/standards in digital and event marketing in Russia/CIS is preferred
- Ability to plan and execute event projects independently, including regular business trips, assignments, etc.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with an open minded attitude towards communicating across different cultures
- Experience in partner management and a track record of influencing change across organizations
- Quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities coupled with knowledge of operating principles
- Have event market awareness and be able to perform cost effective budget holding, strong ability to analyze and solve problems
- Fluency in English.
