Responsibilities:
Manage critical, global trade import and export transactions, ensuring that requirements, documentation and processes function according to standard operating procedures and in compliance with trade laws
Run Trade Compliance council with, Procurement, Customer Ops, SCM, Logistics, Regulatory, Tax, Research and other relevant stakeholders, to ensure effective Import Export Compliance within the region.
Communicate import requirements across EMEA and CS Product Portfolio
Guide phytosanitary import clearance
Report regulation changes for system updates
Implement internal controls and harmonize across product portfolio
Manage Green Light Operations and HS dispute / Off system with CoE
Audit team members’ files to ensure files are maintained in audit-ready status and act as first line of support for Customs Audit
Support License request for non-commercial goods
Govern local IE operations, IPR / bonded WH processes, Export order process, non-commercial shipment process, IE clearance operations
Roll out Policies, Procedures and Systems (Margo 1933 /1922, DocDash TA15, IGL platform) act as CCO
Establish IE SCM and PS community for interchanging best practices
Define troubleshooting team for problems occurring in the imp. process
Develop guidelines on process for frequently occurring situations
Enable new business model in the region and outline Entity flow settup according to portfolio
Support internal customer specific projects
Important for us:
Relevant University Master
8-10 years experience in supply chain and/or trade compliance
Strong motivation and experience leading cross-functional/cross-cultural teams
Strong project management background and strategic mindset
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Strong cross-cultural sensitivity
Fluent in English is required plus local language, any other languages are a plus
