As the Human Resources Director, you will play a vital role in shaping and executing HR strategy tailored to the Uzbekistan market. You will oversee all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and employee relations. Your primary objective will be to foster a positive work environment and help attract, develop, and retain top talent to support the growth the operations in Uzbekistan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection, while ensuring compliance with Uzbekistan labor laws.
- Design and execute effective talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain high-quality candidates across various roles and departments.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive onboarding program for new hires to ensure a smooth integration into the company.
- Enhance employee productivity, engagement, and professional development in line with Uzbekistan's cultural and business practices.
- Develop and deliver training programs tailored to the needs of employees in Uzbekistan, focusing on skills development and knowledge enhancement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations in Uzbekistan and keep abreast of any changes in employment legislation.
- Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks, ensuring they align with local market practices.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive work culture, considering the local cultural dynamics.
- Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures, in compliance with local labor laws and cultural sensitivities.
- Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports on HR metrics, such as employee turnover, performance evaluations, and training outcomes.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in human resources, adapt policies and procedures accordingly, and propose innovative ideas to enhance HR practices in Uzbekistan.
Requirements:
- Fluent English and Russian languages
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience as an HR Director or similar leadership role, preferably in the e-commerce, fintech or retail industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Uzbekistan labor laws, HR principles, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of talent acquisition strategies and experience with full-cycle recruitment in the Uzbekistan market.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute HR initiatives that align with business objectives while considering local cultural dynamics.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
