An intelligence platform and consulting service GfK has opened its door for an experienced HR Director — Russia & Ukraine.

 

Description:

Reporting to our VP HR of NCE, the HR Dir Russia & Ukraine will own all local HR matters as well as acting as a key partner to local senior colleagues, in particular our GM Russia. With an extensive background in Russian Employee Relations and comprehensive local labour law knowledge, the HR Dir Russia & Ukraine provides advice and interventions across a broad range of HR topics in order to enable managers and employees to add maximum value to the business. The successful post holder will guide and drive strategies to resolve difficult and/or sensitive workplace matters, providing objective coaching and recommendation on a variety of ER, change management, staffing and welfare issues whilst overseeing all operational HR tasks, many of which are practically undertaken by an in-country HR Service colleague but still require a proactive, ‘hands on’ approach to day to day tasks by the successful postholder.

 

Tasks:

Contribute as a key member of HR NCE Leadership team, taking on leadership of cross regional projects as appropriate
Manage life cycle of HR processes eg compensation review, talent and performance management in a way that adds real value to the business and its performance
Act as a trusted adviser to Commercial Director and other members of local leadership team
Work closely with the NCE HR Shared Services Director in the day to day management of the local HR services team
Execution of all company global processes, making sure they are properly introduced and customized as legally required
Employee relations management
Сhange management and restructuring
Staff development/engagement/retention/motivation
Employee recruitment (search, selection, testing, induction)
Oversight of HR systems, including managed service payroll provider (NGA), Workday, 1c, Kontur
Management and control of personnel records and events effecting payroll
Coordination and control of all HR processes provided by vendors (including, but not limited to, payroll and labour security)
Guarantee of government and corporate audits
Preparation and submission of all corporate and HR legally required reports

 

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience as local HR generalist within an international business
Good knowledge of local Labour legislation
Excellent communication skills and ability to create good and strong relationships with different kind of local and international stakeholders
Demonstrated problem solving and analytical capability; experience of creation and analysis of HR metrics to find root causes and drive appropriate solution
Attentiveness to data and detail
Fluency in spoken and written Russian and English.
