HR Business Partner — RussiaMajor Accountabilities:

Responsible for managing employee relations issues, ensuring HR policies and procedures are in place and in compliance with local labor law regulations. Ensure HR administrative activities are executed per Corporate guidelines, assist in the local staffing process, ensure a compensation and benefit strategy is implemented and administrated to assure pay for performance and market competitiveness. Ensure that the training and development needs of the countries are met.

Acts as a consultant to business unit management on HR related aspects and organizational design. Embed the corporate strategy and commercial culture into the HR function.

Overall Responsibilities:

• Align HR activities with MasterCard’s strategic goals, identify opportunities for advancing talent management strategies and approaches; provide innovative solutions to human capital challenges.
• Follow up on and assist in the staffing process as well as workforce planning reporting in collaboration with the European Talent Acquisition team.
• Identify need for organization effectiveness and training solutions of both large and small scales. Potential areas of focus include, but are not limited to, team development, performance management, competency development, 360 feedback systems and career-path. Organize these solutions in collaboration with the European Talent Management & Development team.
• Responsible for the facilitation of the Performance Management process which includes the administration of the year-end compensation and annual incentive plan.
• Coordinate with HR Business Partners in other Regions and in Head Office in order to integrate HR stakeholders in critical initiatives.
• Manage the day-to-day aspects of one or more complex projects; partners with key stakeholders across International Markets and MasterCard at large to ensure the timely coordination and execution of plans and activities.
• Close collaboration with the area’s Senior Management team providing relevant HR expertise and guidance to the Russian Country Manager and his/her direct reports.
• Provide active coaching of the Russian Management Team and their leadership teams on critical people issues such as organization structure, talent development, succession planning and performance management.
• Provide local representation on all European / global mobility assignments
• Process local involuntary termination as needed and prepare paperwork for legal review; manage pre and post termination issues and guide Manager through process.

 

Experience/Education:

Higher Education required, preferably in HR or Law
Fluent English and Russian required

Demonstrated relevant time of strong HR generalist experience, preferably in a international environment

In-depth knowledge of Russian Labor Law

Experience in a professional services, FMCG and/or financial services environment is a plus
