With 20 years of success in the payment processing industry OpenWay Group is a payment processing software vendor providing Card Issuing and Merchant Acquiring, Personalized Mobile Payments, Mobile Wallet and other payment solutions that successfully operate at 130 banks, processing and telecom companies in Europe, Asia, North and Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa.
Purpose of Role:
To provide HR support to teams and management in Moscow, Almaty and Kazan offices, including support with organisation design and organization development, employee engagement, internal communication, workforce planning and budgeting, employee relations, compensation and benefits, talent management, and ad-hoc projects.
The role acts as a business partner to the Business Development Director to ensure that Business Development and Delivery teams in Moscow, Almaty and Kazan offices deliver their targets and fulfil their growth agenda. The role supports the management team in developing the HR plans across the dedicated offices as well as implementing the Group HR programs.
Job role and responsibilities:
- Play an active role in the Group HR community by contributing to and developing HR initiatives which help the business to progress forward
- Provide strategic HR business partnership; ensuring the organization has capacity and capabilities needed for achieving its growth agenda
- Play active role in strengthening company’s Employer Brand, by providing great Employee Experience to employees, as well as fostering company’s positive external image
- Provide HR support, guidance and leadership to all directors, managers and employees within the dedicated offices
- Work with the leadership and management teams to understand their business priorities and plan HR activities which will enable the business priorities to be met
- Challenge and influence at director and manager level, helping the leadership team to think through the challenges in the business and provide innovative and creative solutions as alternative options
- Advice and guide directors, managers, and colleagues in building productive working relationships and environment
- Working with directors and line managers on performance management, disciplinary and grievance processes
- Ensure teams have high engagement levels to deliver company’s growth agenda
- Promote culture of recognition and constructive feedback across the organization
- Ensure all business units have their recognition traditions and calendar to ensure ongoing celebration of success and rewarding special performance and promote camaraderie (recognition events, team building, outings, contests)
- Coaching team leads on best performance management approaches, accompany meetings where needed
- Recruit, develop and retain best-in-class talent. Actively participate in decision making to select the right candidates to ensure the company has needed capability for today and tomorrow
- Ensure that recruitment process is professional; in line with local legal requirements and led with high respect to all candidates
- Advising on salary, benefits and reward structures, ensuring that the Company remains a competitive employer within the local environment and is able to recruit and retain high calibre staff
- Oversee the on-boarding and exit interviews for new starters and leavers
Core skills and competencies required:
- Higher education with degree in organizational psychology, law or equivalent
- At least 5 years’ experience in managerial HR role, preferably from international business environment
- Proven team leader with ability to work with a geographically disperse team
- Fluent in English
- Experience in employee relations with a good understanding of employment law
- Comprehensive knowledge of compensation & benefits
- Willingness to travel
