Semrush is a global IT company developing own product – a platform for digital marketers. And this is their HR Business Partner (Revenue, Strategy & Analytics Divisions, Channels and Prowly Units) role for those who, through their work, are willing to support core value – people.

 

Tasks in the role:

  • HRBP's role towards the Unit/Function is an adviser and equal partner and to the CoE is business representative and stakeholder. Its main goal is to encourage and support business goals through HR instruments
  • HR BP is responsible for the initiation and maintaining effective processes such as organizational development, employee relations, talent management, performance management, development, employee engagement, and succession planning activities, and setting metrics of success of these processes
  • Use data and analytics to help influence business decisions within your leadership teams and across your assigned Unit
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues, through effective investigation and objective business recommendations
  • Participate and/or lead cross-functional projects and special initiatives within the HR teams and across the company
  • Participates in the development and facilitation of employee and managerial focused training programs
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop solutions, programs, and policies
  • Identify and deploy impactful people strategies and policies that enable the organization to perform effectively and scale efficiently as it grows
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
  • Works closely with mid to senior-level managers to coach them on good organizational design and people   management practices, enable leaders to improve working relationships, build morale, and increase  productivity and retention of their team members
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation

Who company is looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of HR experience in multiple human resource disciplines, including talent management, employee relations, and performance management, including 4+ years of HRBP experience
  • Results-oriented  individual who operates with the business outcomes in mind while ensuring the best employee experience
  • Demonstrated experience coaching business leaders and facilitating organizational change
  • Comfortable working side by side with international teams, additional experience to effectively work and communicate remotely
  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration and influence
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies
  • Ability to travel occasionally to offices in other countries for business trips

A bit about the team:

  • You can get to know the team better at one of the interviews, but some brief information about future colleagues will be useful now
  • Company has quite a small HR team for supporting several Divisions and Units (Revenue, Strategy & Analytics Divisions, Channels and Prowly Units). Total headcount is around 400 people. Works with employees all around the globe (50% work in the US, 10% are located in Europe, mainly in Prague, and the rest 40% is working right now in Russia and will be relocated in Eu during next months). Finally they anticipate having their people in the following hubs in the US, Spain, Netherlands, Serbia, Armenia and Cyprus
  • Team structure is going to have 1 Lead HRBP, 2 HRBPs (EU and US) and 2 People Partners in the team. Now the structure is changing
  • HR Business Partners works primarily with business stakeholders to define HR strategy and vision for future Divisions' or Units' growth. It's a strategic role aimed to support business goals and at the same time maintain and align it with the general HR vision and approach. HR Business Partner is responsible for partnering with the leaders of Divisions and maintain organizational development  through performance management, workforce planning, employee engagement, career development, analyzes people data/metrics to drive recommendations, identify competency and talent gaps, consult on organizational design initiatives, ensure development and engagement of associate resources, support talent assessment and succession planning with your assigned management team
  • HR People Partners works directly with teams and employees’ requests, lead onboarding processes, maintain communications flow for each group, consult employees in different issues like career development, establishing relationships with the manager etc. They also work with organizational culture and an atmosphere of comfortability to build effective conditions for business growth
