Key objectives: leading 3 key value management pillars pricing, promo and assortment by developing end-to-end processes from long-term strategy to execution.
Responsibility:
Pricing:
- Yearly pricing decisions process development based on market analysis, financial goals, portfolio decisions and long-term company’s strategy
- Brands price repositioning to gain a competitive advantage in the market
- Price elasticity & price points approach development to gain maximum value effect through optimal commercial decision-making
- Market analysis including price segmentation & ladders, net price factor analysis
- Approval and entry of all prices into ERP systems
Promo:
- Price promo investment optimal split within budgeting / estimation processes
- Promo rules for sales team promo planning routine to increase the efficiency of each activation in terms of value and volume
- Maximizing promo activations ROI through discounts management
- Post analysis of all promo activations for operational decisions
- Market promo-pressure modeling for optimal promo strategy
- Approval and entry of all discounts for promo activations into ERP system
Assortment:
- BPPCC (Brand Price Pack Channel City) – optimizing assortment for each subchannel & territory with integration into target plans for the sales team
- Finding potential in market white spots with integration into commercial planning process
Other projects and processes:
- Defining value chain from Baltika to key clients in terms of “win-win” margin solutions
- Key clients deep dive business analysis with defining actionable insights to growth volume share & EBIT
- NPD process full support in terms of pricing & promo
- Defining competitors benchmarks based on research & market data
- Regular reporting, market analysis and various ad-hoc requests related to value management
Requirements and background:
- Experience in controlling/finance, trade marketing, sales and market analysis at least 3 years in Retail or FMCG companies
- At least 2 years of experience in leadership positions
- Knowledge:
- Value chain
- Strategic planning
- Assortment efficiency
- Pricing models, promo/regular efficiency in terms of volume and value KPIs)
- Thorough understanding of finance
- Be able to demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to identify insights and develop strategies to unlock growth opportunities; knowledge of math models and statistics
- Strong management, communication and presentation skills
- MS Office: Excel – advanced user
- Power point – high standards for presentation materials
- Ability to provide internal business clients with clear insights based on advanced analysis
- English: Upper-Intermediate +
- Retail audit data analysis (Nielsen)
