As a Head of trade marketing you are responsible for business objective delivery, excellent execution strategy and your team management and development.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Identify tailored, unique characteristics of the channels and retail environments we play in. Each channel is made up of a diverse set of shopper profiles, on a variety of shopping missions, meaning the way we interact with shoppers needs to reflect these differences to successfully drive awareness and purchase. Identify a scope of execution agenda specific to a Channel / Customer/Product/Format outlet
- Trade budget ownership- ensure the balanced split of TB according to TM playbook which will drive commercial target achievements and GTN compliance within forecast
- Utilizing the full scope of business tools & reports (e.g. DMS &TPM) and external resources (e.g. AC Nielsen) for efficient monitoring & analysis of business results and Trade Promotional Investment to achieve maximum volume returns for responsible category
- Monitor progress against volume objectives; develop initiatives which will drive performance and facilitate reaching sales objectives
- Implement approach to measure in-market execution according to DPSM metrics
- Monitor progress, drive discussions with commercial team, ensure meeting of DPSM targets and volumes
- Lead creation of reports using different source of information (SFA, Nielsen) to monitor the progress of execution
- Focus on permanent actualization and analysis of information from the shelf
- Functionally responsible for developing programs and tools to achieve distribution (quantity and quality) targets
- Work with Marketing team on new product developments with regards to product launch, exit, pack counts, top line forecasts (market share, volume) and baseline / incremental forecasts due to in-store promotions
- Establish priority map by products by customer/channel type, develop planograms with channel specifics and ensure alignment with Marketing Plan
- Developing and reviewing Channel Communication Plan
- Development of channel pricing strategy (with proper trade activation plan) in alignment with Category and Marketing Plans. Monitor competitive price actions plan and recommend changes
- Team management and development
About you:
- You have previous experience in leading trade marketing in fast moving consumer goods companies
- You've got excellent project management skills, you're passionate about creating processes from scratch or improving the ones that already exist
- Your Fluent English allows you to effectively communicate at all levels
