Kaspersky Lab is looking for a Head of Threat Research and Security Intelligence PR Global.
Main responsibilities:
- Works in conjunction with R&D, Products and Services, Marketing, CEO office to develop company’s positioning strategy in the area of Threat Research and Security Intelligence
- Establish and maintain contacts with technical and cyber security experts globally
- Drives strategy and tactical goals in the area of Threat Research and Security Intelligence PR
- Plans, organizes and monitors work of the team: sets objectives and evaluates the performance of the team members
- Budget planning and managing
- Generating content and developing news hooks to promote threat research, investigations, security intelligence expertise
- Initiating & Handling Media Interviews
- Supporting regional PR teams, aligning with regional teams on activation of threat research related PR campaigns
- Organizing international press events and/or participation of company’s experts in international events
- Setting up and maintaining the measurement / reporting system to track the progress
- Providing PR support for the company’s leading experts at corporate and third-party events
- Development of company’s tech speakers via organization of media trainings
Required experience & skills:
- Completed degree (BA, MSc, MA, PhD) in public relations or journalism field
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in PR agency and / or PR department of a company
- Experience in Cyber Security/ IT /Tech industry is desirable
- Minimum 1 year of experience in managing PR function
- Understanding of media landscape and media relations; successful experience in attaining media coverage in the relevant media categories
- Experience in developing PR strategies, plans and reports
- Ability to work very closely with senior management
- Copywriting skills (both in Russian and in English)
- Fluent English language
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects
- General understanding of international business processes
- Multi-tasked, well-structured, Self-motivated
