Main tasks:
Development and implementation of a medium-term strategy for the development of men’s clothing/outerwear;
Planning the assortment of the O`STIN retail chain in its sector of responsibility;
Budgeting of purchases of commodity products and control of budget execution;
Analysis of the clothing market, determination of the development strategy by product groups, monitoring of the main competitors;
Sales management, marketing for the assigned product category;
Formation of a detailed assortment plan;
Calculation and ordering of a collection of clusters of shops;
Managing the product lifecycle and sales through sales channels, planning and analyzing the results of promotional events;
Participation in presentations of new collections and retail audits;
Manage retail space in stores;
Cross-functional interaction with visual merchandising, product development, product distribution and logistics departments;
Management of the department. Recruitment, development and motivation of personnel.
Еxpectations:
Higher education (preferably in physics and mathematics or economics), additional business education is desirable;
Experience working in a large retail chain (clothing, shoes, accessories);
10+ years in category management, including 5+ years as Category Management Head /Chief Merchandising Officer;
Cross-functional experience in areas related to category management (procurement, marketing, visual merchandising, planning, supply chains, sales);
Knowledge of the principles of product distribution, visual merchandising, budgeting;
Knowledge of the clothing market;
Knowledge of English at least intermediate level;
Developed team management skills, high analytical skills;
Diplomacy and cross-functional communication skills;
Experience in Russia / area of responsibility in the Russian market.
