Main tasks:
- Operational and strategic planning and coordination of the operation department
- Formation of technical policy on operational issues and planning of technical resources
- Organization of support for products and services developed in the company
- Organization of support for servers, storage and system software
- Organization of work with data centers, communication channels and network infrastructure
- Database support
- Ensuring information security
- Support of systems that ensure business processes in the company
Company is looking for a person who:
- Has experience in managing the operation department in an IT company
- Has good technical experience with the technologies we use (Linux, Java, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, etc.)
- Has good experience in building networks (Cisco equipment, L2 and L3 layer networks, routing protocols)
- Has experience in building processes in accordance with Information security requirements
- Has good experience working with equipment (servers, storage), interacting with data centers and telecom operators
- Has a successful experience in organizing hardware purchases
- Knows how to build transparent reporting, knows the principles of incident management and ITSM
- Knows how to keep records of costs for projects and for clients
- Has good experience in the management and employees development (important: the ability to negotiate and explain your position, work experience and management of expert people, etc.)
- Supports a business-oriented approach in department management
