В компанию-разработчик образовательных digital продуктов и контента для детей IntellectoKids ищут Head of Teaching and Learning.
IntellectoKids is one of the largest international developers of educational apps & videos for kids ages 3-7 to help them prepare for school through play.
In May 2021 IntellectoKids launched a new project - teaching young learners online. Company now offers Mathematics, Language Arts, Phonics, and Science for Kindergarten through Grade 5 in the USA, Great Britain, and Canada.
The Head of Teaching and Learning is responsible for ensuring the quality of IntellectoKids online lessons in accordance with the company’s guiding statements and providing instructional leadership to IntellectoKids educators across given subject areas.
Position objectives include:
- Providing leadership in the implementation of instructional programs
- Reviewing academic delivery of existing programs, celebrating good practice and identifying areas for development, and devising an inclusive strategy to drive improvement where necessary
- Supporting teachers in creating and implementing an educational plan that meets the needs and interests of their students
- Watching video recordings of lessons and making recommendations to educators and other faculty in order to enhance learning
- Studying, evaluating, and implementing research-based curricula and instruction
- Improving existing instructional programs by developing and giving professional development workshops to teachers
Qualification:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Elementary Education
- Outstanding written and oral communications skills in English
- Organized with strong attention to detail and ability to develop efficient, internal systems and workflow
- Minimum 3 years of classroom teaching experience
- Familiarity and experience with Common Core State Standards/ the National Curriculum of England/Emergent curriculum/The Developmental - Interaction Approach, IB PYP is a plus
- Able to work a flexible schedule as needed (including evenings and some weekends)
