Responsibilities:
- Leading tax function for STADA companies in Russia
- Full range of tax services - tax reporting, including for tax monitoring, tax methodology support
- Managing external / internal audits and special tax related projects
- Tax risk management - identification, mitigation and reporting of tax risks, development of sustainable tax positions
- Tax review of contracts
- Tax review of transactions - evaluation of tax implications and support for ongoing projects
- Leading high performing tax team. Ensuring relevant tax competence, knowledge and awareness amongst team members and other relevant staff
- Ensuring competence of stakeholders in tax area by providing trainings, advice, and support
- Develop and implement opportunities for improvement / automatization in tax procedures and processes
Requirements:
- University degree in tax law, economics, finance or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in tax, advisory or in-house tax roles
- Team management experience
- Leadership or stakeholder management experience
- Excellent knowledge of Russian tax legislation
- Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and tax returns
- Good knowledge of local accounting standards
- Fluent English (frequent correspondence with foreign HQ)
