Based out of the AliExpress Russia office (Moscow), the Tax Manager will be focusing on the company’s Russian and foreign related tax matters, which involves tax accounting, tax research, responding to tax audit inquiries, and collaborating with tax, finance & business colleagues across the business.
Working with members of the company’s Tax and Finance teams, internal business units and various professional service advisors, you will be responsible for:
Preparing tax working papers that support the company’s quarterly/year-end tax provision process on timely basis
Preparing / assisting in Russian and foreign jurisdictions corporate tax compliance, planning and process improvement initiatives.
Managing various tax reporting, tax compliance and project related deadlines.
Assisting in development of tax accounting policies and procedure
Documenting flow control for tax purposes and establishing periodic tax reporting package
Providing support, analysis and reporting for taxation audits and special projects.
Providing support to internal stakeholder groups enabling business decisions that maximize enterprise value
DD check of counteragents, control of maintaining and updating counteragent’s files
Control of electronic cash registers operation.
We are looking for a talented individual with:
University degree in Accounting or Taxation, with 5+ years experience in tax accounting
Strong knowledge of tax accounting and reporting
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Demonstrated ability to solve/research problems both independently and collaboratively
Detail and deadline oriented
Advanced skills in Excel
Enthusiastic self-starter with excellent accounting, analytical, creative problem-solving and project management skills
Big4 tax experience is a plus
English level – Intermediate (is a must).
