A large international IT company is searching for a Head of Tax and Finance Structuring to join the International Finance Department.
Key functions:
Finance structuring of operations;
Development of tax structure, including international and Ukrainian taxation;
Tracking changes of tax and currency laws and regulations in countries where the company is represented;
Identification and minimization of tax risks;
Development of finance models;
Analysis of tax implications on business decisions;
Approve tax efficient structuring of international transactions;
Controlling tax accounting and ensuring compliance with local and international tax laws or regulations;
Reviewing deals in their formative stages and advice to achieve the best tax result;
Control over the preparation of transfer pricing documentation;
Leading crucial negotiations in tax optimization and control matters;
Overviewing preparation of statutory reporting — tax and corporate;
Controlling internal company procedures or policies from a tax perspective;
Support tax audit;
Approve the company’s M&A transactions;
Coordinate work of external tax advisory and accounting firms, support internal and external audit of taxes in all jurisdictions;
Supervise the preparation of and review returns (including CIT, VAT / GST, withholding taxes) for multiple jurisdictions, and review the related tax accruals, tax payments, and tax account reconciliations;
Control tax planning and tax reporting business processes for multiple jurisdictions;
Processing ad hoc tax requests from internal users.
Key requirements:
University degree in Finance / Economics;
ACCA and/or other qualifications will be an asset;
5+ years of relevant work experience in international tax structuring and administration (either in-house or legal & accountancy firm experience);
BA/BS or MA/MS degree in finance, economics or other;
Solid international tax skills including finance & tax structuring (mandatory) and transfer pricing analysis (preferably), as well as financial modeling and analysis skills;
Fluent English;
Team player.
