Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Talent will lead the company growth on the European job market, and, work closely with the leadership team, helping align and shape organizational and people capabilities with the business strategy and operational objectives. This is a great position for an experienced HR professional to join a quickly growing successful international company and become a key member of the executive team. You will be giving all the required resources and management support to be successful.

Location: Saint Petersburg, Russia or anywhere in Europe

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the company positioning and employer brand development on the European job markets.
  • Lead strategy and growth of the Company’s HR department including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, organizational development, career development, performance management, and employee relations
  • Develop and implement effective, multi-channel hiring with internal recruiting team and 3rd party partners.
  • Influence and advise the executive leadership team on HR strategies, issues and topics of interest. Provides counsel and collaborates with the executive leadership team on HR related activities
  • Provide objective and strategic input and guidance to employees at all levels of the organization including career development, and general management / employee relationship issues. Develop, implement and measure effective retention strategies.
  • Oversees the Company’s compensation and benefit programs, developing and implementing equitable, competitive compensation programs that supports the Company’s philosophy while assessing the competitiveness relevant to comparable companies, the biotech/pharma industry, and markets and attracts, retains and rewards top talent
  • Enhance, implement and enforce Human Resource policies and procedures
  • Establish trust and credibility throughout the organization
  • Maintain communication for all HR and recruiting related topics with key company clients and partners in the US

 

Required skills and experience

 

  • 10 + years of experience in progressive cross-functional Human Resources leadership roles which include management/leadership of professional staff
  • 5+ years experience in IT business, preferably from IT services company
  • Global experience is a plus
  • Fluent English with a proven experience in working with US based IT executives and international employees and contractors.
  • Proven experience in working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment and able to work on numerous projects simultaneously, requiring strong organizational and time management skills
  • Solid understanding and working knowledge of HR practices, employment law, talent acquisition, compensation, organizational development, employee relations, performance management, immigration, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across multiple functions in a matrix environment coaching, consulting, partnering, and influencing leaders and peers across the organization
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching and counseling skills
  • Strong collaboration, business acumen, interpersonal, relationship management, and communication skills
  • Experience in implementing HR and recruiting automation.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to think strategically, analytically and creatively
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and changing environment
  • Ability to engage, inspire and influence people
  • Ability to relate to people at all levels within an organization and maintain positive relationships with management, peers, and subordinates
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, define and drive strategy, and defy conventional wisdom
  • Strong business acumen; must have a high level of comfort around senior management and geeks alike.
