Key responsibilities:
- Administer servers (10+ physical and 100+ virtual servers);
- Ensure the infrastructure reliability and security;
- Scale server capacities and provide failover.
Must-have skills:
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure
- 3+ years of experience with Linux-based systems (Debian/Ubuntu/CentOS);
- Deep knowledge of DBMS administration (PostgreSQL 12+/ClickHouse), including load balancing and data replication, providing a continuous backup;
- Experience in configuring servers with php7, Java, NodeJS, and Python;
- Virtualization systems and cluster systems based on Proxmox;
- Nginx configuration
- Network operation and ability to configure it: VPN (L2TP/IPsec), routing, CDN, network load balancing (vrrp/keepalived), Iptables;
- Understanding of Postfix/Dovecot mail protocols and servers, ensuring the deliverability of large mailing lists. Knowledge of practices in setting up mail domains (DKIM/SPF/DMARC);
- Understanding of basic types of attacks, and the ability to provide security at layer 3 4 7 levels.
- Troubleshooting (read logs, define the problem)
- Maintainance the PHP-based products
- Node.js v16, pm2
Nice-to-have skills:
- AWS certificate
- open stack
- Experience in long-term projects;
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and infrastructure management based on Ansible;
- Python, Bash, Java;
- Experience in configuring monitoring systems (Zabbix/Prometheus/Grafana/Graylog/CloudWatch/Sentry);
- Knowledge of Docker/K8s containerization systems.
