Summary Of Position
The Head of Support role in the NDI brand is responsible for growing, training, and managing a team of support engineers, continuing to streamline and build the NDI support infrastructure and processes, and answering questions escalated by the support team.
Responsibilities
As Head of Support for NDI, you will have a unique opportunity to transition a young, global team into a mature contributor to the organization. You will act as the main point of contact on the support team for the R&D department. As a senior member of the NDI organization, you will be expected to draw on your past experience in software support to advise on the best direction for the growth and operations of the NDI support department.
This position is expected to be mostly remote, with occasional days in the office.
Required Qualifications
Fluent English language skills
3+ years of people management experience
5+ years of software support experience
Proficient in C++ development and troubleshooting
Strong attention to detail combined with an ability to see the big picture
Preferred Qualifications
Broadcast or media software experience
Experience managing international teams
C development experience
Working knowledge of FPGA usage in embedded devices
Experience supporting B2B customers
Experience helping customers who are using an SDK or API.
