MSD Pharmaceuticals has opened its door for a Head of Supply Chain.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Proactively leads the end-to-end supply chain activities and harmonize the strategy assuring the agreed performance levels
Provides functional leadership and direction to personnel within their scope of responsibility and ensure quality and compliant supply chain operations whilst looking continuously for operational efficiencies and cost effective measures by using innovative solutions
Based on reporting tools, follow up the performance for each node of supply chain (importing, demand planning, supply planning, distribution and logistics etc)
Ensuring the demand fulfillment and coverage of supply with alignment between demand and supply
Achieve consensus for demand forecasts by facilitating a collaborative demand review process with sales, marketing and finance teams
In charge of leading and controlling the inventory as well as 3PL warehouse, transportation in line with established budgets to ensure stock continuity to the market
Facilitating the regular dialogue in S&OP, driving consensus of action plans to address risk and opportunities for the supply chain
Coordinating with regulatory, public affairs, market access and policy related functions to measure the impact on supply
Provide input to Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing, new and phase out products
Taking actions to avoid Inventory of Questionable Value
Manage and operate monthly review meetings in both demand reviewing and D&L side
Ensuring adequate communication to internal and external customers and process stakeholders
Conducting all activities in a compliant manner in regards of own accounts
Providing audit support in regards of own accounts if/when requested
Mentoring the direct reports and responsible for their development
QUALIFICATION:
Bachelor’s degree or above preferably from industrial engineering
Min 10 years work experience in a related business area
3 – 5 years related experience in managing with multiple planning systems including SAP, APO, which are preferred
A strong team player with excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills and ability to operate in a matrix environment
Strong problem solving and resolution skills
Analytical /Data driven mindset
Keen driver for process improvement
Deep understanding of business dynamics and Supply Chain
