Responsibilities:
- Design engaging, inviting, and on-brand retail spaces that best represent the brand aesthetic for new stores and remodels
- Manage projects from design concept through execution
- Engage and manage architects, engineers and other consultants in the creation of construction documents while holding them accountable for deliverables
- Ensure that documents meet all applicable codes and landlord criteria
- Review construction drawings for accuracy and to be sure they meet standards
- Partner closely with Retail Operations, Merchandising, Marketing and other cross functional stakeholders throughout all stages of the store design process to make sure all needs are addressed
- Create test fits for potential retail sites for Real Estate evaluation
- Partner with Construction and Visual Merchandise team on the inclusion and procurement of millwork, fixturing, flooring and lighting fixtures
- Update and maintain a Brand Design Standards Manual of, specifications and finishes
- Facilitate timely responses to internal team’s ad hoc requests on existing stores
- Design new store fixturing that will best display growing line of products
About the Candidate
- Bachelor’s Degree in architecture or interior design preferred or relevant work experience
- 5+ years of related experience in Architecture, Retail Design, Interior Design or similar field
- Experienced in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite [In-Design, Photoshop, Illustrator], Google Workspace, Microsoft Office. Revit would be a plus
- Proficient with a computer visualization tools such as SketchUp or Rhino
- Established experience creating interior and architectural design concepts for a range of project sizes and varying complexity levels
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple demands at the same time
- Excellent communication skills, team-oriented, responsible and driven
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with executive leadership
