Pomelo is leading online fashion company in Emerging Asia. Pomelo Fashion is looing for a Head of retail stores.

 

Your responsibilities are:

The Head of Retail Stores is the key leadership role within the retail management team and a member of the Pomelo senior management team
He/she is responsible for leading the retail commercial strategy and delivering exceptional results.
The Head of Retail Stores is responsible for defining and executing commercial action plans to ensure revenue growth and healthy KPI’s throughout countries and store formats
Ensuring customer experience is at the highest level
The Head of Retail Stores must be able to both set the strategy, plan the rollout and also implement it and adopt it to local countries requirements
Full P&L responsibility of the Retail stores
Drive and maximize sales performance to consistently achieve the overall sales target — Drive the implementation of strategies by coaching, motivating, and supporting the Commercial team
Ensuring there is strong adoption of and understanding of company strategies/goal
Cross functionally set and implement the global commercial plan, based on data and close cooperation with the marketing and campaign team
Driving and optimizing sales by taking actions on a daily basis to drive sales and partner with the rest of the Retail team to achieve it.
Lead the teams, Retail Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Store Operations and Retail HR to future success by developing strategies and ensure execution throughout all stores
Develop guidelines and processes to enhance customer experience and store operational efficiency by utilizing the proprietary tech stack Pomelo possesses
Partner with the Product tech and BI teams to develop tech solutions which enables Pomelo Retail to scale efficiently and continue to be leading in developing its OMNI channel offering
Responsible for all KPIs as regard to, sales, productivity, inventory control, visual standards, operational standards and develop measurable action plans to optimize growth regionally
Demonstrate effective managerial competencies: team building, collaboration, lead change initiatives
Form a strong partnership with HQ counterparts, (Marketing, Finance, Buying & Planning etc.) that is proactive in supporting the development and execution of retail strategies

 

Qualifications:
Have several years of working experience from a Commercial level position with focus on driving commercial strategies
Experience from building and leading teams formally and informally
Are extremely sales driven and has a strong commercial awareness – top of mind is always to sell more
Strong business acumen, highly analytical, able to present and drive ideas and strategies
Experience in collaborating with multiple teams both internally and externally
Great verbal and written communication skills; excellent presentation skills
Strategic and focused on the end results
Flexible, adaptable, reliable and able to work well under pressure
Extremely well organized and structured – excellent project management skills
Able to quickly assess and anticipate needs and provide highest quality of service.
