Hyundai looking for Head of Research.

 

Responsibilities:

Development and leading of research function in the Company;
Leading Research committee, arranging and overviewing of various research processes including planning, budgeting, quality control and cooperation with external partners;
Preparation of insights for long-term strategy and finding new opportunities for business development on Russian market;
Coordinating, managing and implementation of Global business strategy: adaptation of HQ long-term vision to Russian & CIS markets;
Middle and long-term forecasting and predicting of evolving tendencies and their influence on company’s performance for new and current businesses directions;
Preparation and coordination of Strategy for Customers satisfaction and Service Brand Value;
Determination of resources needed to achieve objectives and overcome cross-functional barriers and business-environmental uncertainty;
Industry and economic data managing using multi-format sources, including timely and proactive sharing of findings and best practices with related parties;
Communications and workflow alignment with Korean HQ;
Coordination of communications and information gathering with other Departments.

 

Qualifications:

Higher education (Master Degree / MBA would be an advantage);
At least 7 years of experience in relevant area (research, brand management and development);
Excellent knowledge of automotive Russian market and industry, ongoing trends and main competitors (at least 3 years of experience in automobile industry / relevant projects);
Team managerial experience (at least 3 years);
Deep understanding and strong expertise in brand value enhancement, customers’ behavior and purchase patterns, best practices and emerging trends in research area, as well as ability combine own expertise with situational-based thinking and objective judgement;
Ability to simultaneously balance innovative approach and strong commercial perspective via focusing on high quality and gaining maximum value for business performance;
Excellent negotiation skills, analytical thinking, accuracy, excellent presentation skills, as well as ability to analyze projects’ requirements;
Ability to effectively operate in a complex and challenging environment, stress resistance, high self-motivation aimed at achieving personal and department’s high results;
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work and communicate persuasively and proactively through formal & informal channel with various multinational internal and external stakeholders;
Fluent English (Upper-intermediate level or higher);
PC advanced user MS Office (Excel, Power Point), JATO knowledge would be an advantage.
