Во франшизу Elixir Family требуется Head of Research And Development.
Company helps founders to launch e-com businesses under brand Elixir Family. Company is building a decacorn decentralized company where every wellness product will be backed by an entrepreneur developing it. Eco-system, in its turn, decreases launch risks on a global marketplace - through market expertise, funding capacity and community power.
Company is aiming at 10k entrepreneurs with a business $1mln per each, and 1 bln units sold with average rating of 4.5. This would lead Elixir Family to a market cap of $10 bln - and they want franchisee to benefit from this capitalization by granting them Elixir’s options.
Key responsibilities:
- Desk research: feeling and calculating trends, identifying upcoming product niches on Amazon, matching Elixir’s expertise and new products creation
- Outsourced production: sourcing and contracting production capacities worldwide, looking for undervalued products which would fit the upcoming niches and might be driven by entrepreneurs community
- Innovations sourcing: sourcing for formulas, receipts and mixes, assessing incoming flow of them and landing relevant into Elixir’s system
- Private labels: co-branding and collaboration with partners holding traffic or other resources, where Elixir will be producing and partners - promoting products
- Future Head of R&D needs to manage product unit economics really well, understand and crunch nuances yet be able to analyze them strategically. Company sees you as a hub who would integrate and synergize all four channels described above - and probably even launch his/her own new channel. As a result, create a “window” of products where franchisee will choose products to launch and develop on Amazon (and other key global marketplaces in future)
Objectives and key results for the first 3 months:
- Quantitative: at least 15 products approved for launch on Elixir Family platform
- Qualitative: 360 feedback from the key peers (CEO, COO)
What company expects:
Experience:
- Expertise in new product development is a must
- E-commerce experience is a must
- Experience in launching new products in the US is a must
- Understanding of global supply chain nuances and trends, knowledge of products certification
- Experience of products launch at scale: starting from 50 products per year
- Understanding of and network among different global outsourced producers
- Understanding of product economics and especially its maths
- Global best practice experience gained at the leading FMCG corporations would be an advantage

- Influencing&collaborating - ability to build relationships across organization and beyond, driving global connections and generating benefits for all sides of a deal. Ability to influence without direct administrative leverage, engaging and inspiring vs. dictating and fighting for one’s ideas
