Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver the local portfolio of projects that will localize Avon inline concepts for the Russia market
- Ensuring proper communication on forecasts and trends to all involved parties
- Develop & validate cost effective, efficient technological processes for the reformulated & localized inline & innovative products
- Ensure least COGS for developed products by taking the best cost sourcing solutions
- Overseeing local product specifications and artworks and ensuring compliance with all performance, quality and regulatory standards
- Manages local innovation portfolio interdependencies and risks to ensure on time, in full and on cost new product launche
- Drive cross program communication and visibility and facilitate development and delivery of communications to key stakeholders, across Global and Local R&D, Marketing and Supply Chain organizations
- Partners with PS&I to ensure safety and regulatory compliance
- Influence leadership by communicating explicit and implicit tradeoffs that impact the innovation portfolio
- Facilitate portfolio selection and prioritization. Partner and direct business leaders to identify triggers for reprioritizing the project portfolio
- Reformulation and/or adaptation of the Avon formulas for inline & innovative products taking into account the ingredients and components available for RU market
- Responsible for control over testing organization for localized inline & new products according to Avon R&D standards & Russian Law
- Control & organization of keeping & reporting for lab testing documentation related to alternative sourced components & ingredients, FI, FG in accordance with the Avon R&D standards
- Control over the registration & accountancy of the incoming samples of alternative & local ingredients
- Propose & initiate R&D process improvement measures
Requirements:
- A bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant science or discipline is required
- English level: upper-intermediate or higher
- 10 + years experience in product development is required, with experience in Color or Skin Care development desired
- Working knowledge of applications and the platform and technologies that support product development and the business
- Budget planning and management expertise
- Proven management and leadership skills, able to structure and lead a new, globally dispersed team in a matrixed multi-cultural environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, appropriate capability and gravitas to work with and be credible with the senior leadership of the company including C-Suite executives
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation and decision-making capabilities. Able to influence management, as well as internal and external partners
- Arbitrate and drive conflict resolution with a fact-based and risk-management approach

Offer:
- Exciting opportunity for establishing and leading the new ring-fenced Russia R&D team, responsible to localize and commercialize global Avon inline and new NPD products for the Russia market. Will recruit, train and directly lead Product Development (PD), Package Engineering (PE) and New Product Implementation (NPI) for all Russia localization projects.
