PepsiCo is looking for a Head of Quality Control Department.
Role purpose:
Organize, coordinate and monitor the implementation and the maintenance of quality standards at the dairy products manufacturing plant.
Main accountabilities:
- Provision of AIB, DNV, GMP, HACCP, ISO 22 000 FSSC 22000 requirements
- Responsible for Execution of work disciplines and obligations by persons under subordination
- Conduct internal Quality Management System (QMS) and Food Safety audit
- Ensure the fulfilment of norms established by internal policies
- Implement requirements of Georgian regulation standards GFSI
- Coordinate the full and effective implementation of Microbiological Monitoring Program (MSP), Environmental Monitoring Program (EMP), Good Management Practices (GMP) systems
- Plan, conduct and control timely and appropriate corrective actions - make a rational decision in a critical situation
- Protect the sanitary hygienic norms of food according to the required food safety standards
- Summarize, analyze results of degustation and conduct corrective actions based on the results
- In case of the product quality issue, determine the reason of its cause and carry out relevant corrective measures
- Implement weekly audit on the production, warehouse and full territory of the factory. Coordinating fulfillment of the quality and food safety improvement plan.15 Participate in the planning of Annual Operational Planning budget
- Implement LEAN /5S project in quality department
- Provide information to financial services in the agreed form within the established timeframe
- Cooperate with other departments (Finance, marketing and Supply Chain) on local level to ensure delivering of established targets
- Provide preliminary agreed reports to production director within the agreed deadlines and periods
- Provide report for the past period and future plan and priorities on monthly and quarterly basis
Candidate profile:
- Higher education
- 5+ years working experience in Quality management with leadership experience
- Knowledge of local and international requirements of food safety, AIB, GMP, HACCP, ISO 22 000 FSSC 22000 requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong decision making skills in critical situations, analytical and logical thinking
- Fluency in Georgian, Russian and English languages
- MS Office suite command
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast moving and changing environment
